The RAeS Bristol Branch, British Women Pilots’ Association and Aerospace Bristol invite you to a Women’s History Month lecture.
Fiona Macaskill will talk to you about adventure, about what she did with the affordable, cutting-edge technology available for personal flight.
Fiona started her flying journey as a mother of four, when she first took to the skies via paragliding, and setting four world records. Later, Fiona became a grandmother and she expanded her flying skills with power-flying in two- and four-seater aircraft, leading to expeditions across both hemispheres, air racing, Royal Aero Club recognition, and more world records, all accompanied by interesting tales.
This lecture will take place on Thursday 26th March 2026 at Aerospace Bristol (Hayes Way, Patchway, Bristol BS34 5BZ – https://what3words.com/: loose.format.poppy).
Teas and coffees will be available from 6pm for a 6.30pm lecture start.
