Publicity Notice – RAeS Bristol Branch 1st Annual Young Person’s Lecture Competition (The Sitec Challenge)

RAeS Bristol Branch are pleased to give advance notice of our forthcoming lecture competition, The Sitec Challenge. This annual competition is open to anyone under 30 who has or is studying a recognised Engineering Council degree. Candidates who enter The Sitec Challenge are eligible for entry for the RAeS’s prestigious NE Rowe medal. The event is topical, with a new theme each year to reflect the ever-changing and multi-faceted landscape of the aerospace industry. The theme for the 2016 competition is: “Advanced Recyclable Materials, Greener Manufacturing and the place of these technologies in the future of our industry”

Applications with any variation on this theme are very welcome!
At this stage there are two deadlines that entrants should be aware of:

1.  Submission of the application with a small abstract:  29th July 2016Candidates that are successful at this stage will be notified and be required to submit their presentation that will be given at the final. 

2. Submission of the presentation:  13th October 2016

PRIZES including £200 cash and two tickets to RIAT are being offered for winning candidates
