The Birdman of Bognor competition

by

Andrew Bill of Airbus (Filton)

Andrew Bill of Airbus (Filton) will be describing the Birdman of Bognor competition, an annual event which sees entrants aim to glide their inventions 100m from the end of Bognor pier with a view to winning the £25,000 jackpot prize.

Andrew will take us through his personal experience of the process needed to design, build, test and fly his machines in what promises to be a really interesting and entertaining lecture.

To add to the excitement of the lecture itself, we are very pleased to announce that this lecture will be held at Bristol Aerospace – the home of the last Concorde to have flown.
