Growth of the Rotorcraft Market. Past, Present and Future.

Jim Gilhooly, Head of Market Research, AgustaWestland

Thursday 11th April 2013 – 6.30pm, The Concorde Room/Room 1, BAWA Leisure Centre, 589 Southmead Road, Filton, Bristol, BS34 7RG

The RAeS Bristol lectures welcome all interested members and non-members for this event.

The helicopter has been described as a machine hell-bent on shaking itself to pieces. This challenge has been firmly grasped by successive generations of aerospace professionals to the point where the helicopter is now an essential, if not indispensible, asset in key global markets, be it in the civil or defence sectors. The purpose of this lecture is to describe the growth of the rotorcraft market, comparing it to the fixed wing sector, looking at what drives it now and what will drive it in the future and how AgustaWestland hopes to play a central role in this success. The RAeS Bristol Branch looks forward to welcoming you to our April lecture.
